The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed with regard to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due sassa to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who visit a service sassa status point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
